If thermal insulation boards have already been purchased, then the pitch of the rafters is selected in accordance with their width, since the insulation is subsequently installed precisely in the gaps between the rafters. The material for the manufacture of rafters is usually a beam, the cross section of which is 150x50 mm. After installing the rafters, control measurements of the slopes should be made.
2. The minimum angle of inclination of the roof during the installation of metal tiles is 14 degrees. The length of the sheets used depends on the length of the slope, which is measured from the eaves to the ridge, taking into account the overhang of the eaves, which is at least 40 millimeters. If the length of the slope exceeds 6 meters, the sheets of metal are divided into two or more parts, laid with an overlap of approximately 150 millimeters.
3. Daily temperature fluctuations cause condensation to accumulate on the lower surfaces of the metal tile. In addition, moisture vapor penetrates into the cold space under the roof with warm air rising from the house. Excess moisture moistens the layer of insulating material, worsening its thermal insulation performance. To avoid such problems, the thickness of the insulation layer must be as required. In addition, it is necessary to carry out additional protection of the insulation with the help of a waterproofing film on the side of the metal tile and a vapor barrier on the side of the interior. . 4. 8. 9. The tightness of the junction of the metal-tile roof to the walls and chimneys is ensured by making an internal apron, for the manufacture of which the lower junction strips are used. The bar is applied to the wall of the pipe, its upper edge is marked on the brick, along which a strobe is then nailed with the help of a grinder. After the gating is completed, this area should be cleaned of dust and washed with water. The installation of the inner apron begins with the wall of the pipe, which is located on the underside of the slope (on the side where the cornice is located). The bar is cut in place, installed and secured with self-tapping screws. Install aprons on the other sides of the pipe in the same way.

Important: when moving on a roof covered with metal tiles, safety measures should be observed.Shoes should be soft, comfortable and non-slip, and you can only step into the places where the waves bend. In addition, it is recommended to use an installer's belt with a fastened halyard for insurance.

10. Gutter holders are fastened to the bottom board of the crate. The method and step of their fastening depends on what type of drainage system is used, usually the necessary data can be found in the instructions. Particular attention should be paid to the location of the edge of the gutter, which should be located 25-30 millimeters below the edge of the Supermonterrey metal tile, which will maintain the integrity of the gutter during the snow layers coming off the roof.
11. In the case of a rectangular section of the gutter system, it is enough to simply insert and fix it in the holders, and the cornice strip is attached to the roof lathing so that its lower edge overlaps the edge of the gutter. The waterproofing film is removed above the eaves, providing a drain for condensate.

12. The installation of a gutter with a circular cross section is carried out by inserting its rear edge into the locking protrusion located on the holder. In this case, the eaves bar is installed in the manner described above.
