What do you need in order to make a shower yourself?
If you plan to make a shower yourself, choose the installation location and type of tray. Depending on its type, showers are:
- with a homemade pallet-podium;
- without pallet, with ladder.
- with a ready-made pallet (made of steel, cast iron or ceramics).
The choice of the type of cabin affects the initial stage of repair - work with floors in the bathroom (thermal and sound insulation, waterproofing, pipes are laid). If a ladder is needed, additional work will need to be done to install it. There are 2 ways to create a tile shower tray: you can make it yourself, or you can buy it ready-made.
Instead of a ready-made store shower tray, you can make it yourself. Basically, concrete or bricks are used for this. After that, it must be lined with ceramic tiles. Water in this case should go through the ladder into the sewer, and small sides along the edge of the foundation will not allow it to fall on the floor of the room.
Types of shower cabins

The possibility of flooding the neighbors in the shower with such a pallet is minimized. However, it is difficult for older people to cross the high side.
