The basis is polyurethane, which is modified with polyamide. The metal tile (due to the pural coating) has a marketable and high-quality appearance, has excellent decorative properties.

Manufacturers issue a guarantee for the operation of the Pural coating for at least 15 years, without changing the quality and decorative characteristics. Such a roof will not show any corrosion, fading, leakage.

Pural metal tile has the following composition:

  1. Steel sheet.
  2. Zinc coating (minimum 275 g/m).
  3. Anti-corrosion coating.
  4. Primer.
  5. Coating polymer pural.
  6. Protective varnish.

The main qualities of pural coated metal tiles

High-quality metal tile
  1. The resistance to mechanical stress is high. Thanks to the pural coating, which is 50 microns thick, the metal tile perfectly withstands molding. At the same time, its qualitative features do not change.
  2. Galvanized steel with pural polymer perfectly lends itself to profiling and folding. Moreover, the coating is not damaged at all.
  3. Possesses the increased resistance to any mechanical influences (scratches, blows, etc.).
  4. High resistance to ultraviolet rays. The coating does not change its color even after many years of operation.
  5. High resistance to atmospheric aggressive factors (strong winds, hail, snow, acid rain).
  6. This coating is heat-resistant and adequately withstands temperature changes, much better than polyester. It has excellent anti-corrosion performance.
  7. Longevity. Roofing made of metal tiles will last 40 years or more. No repairs, no roof leaks.
  8. Environmental friendliness.
  9. Fine decorative qualities to a metal tile are given by special pigments of high quality which are a part of a covering pural. Thanks to them, the coating also has high dirt-repellent properties and high ductility.

The main disadvantages of pural coated metal tiles

  1. If the calculations are wrong, perhaps 40% of metal tiles waste.
  2. With a sharp change in ambient temperature, condensation may form.
  3. The color scheme is not as diverse as other coatings.
  4. During precipitation, it creates increased noise. Many experts do not agree with this opinion: with proper installation, metal roofing does not create any noise. Such troubles occur when the sheets are not properly installed and fastened.

Operating conditions of metal tiles with pural coating

Important to know: pural coated metal tiles are indispensable in those climatic zones where there are special requirements for weather resistance. It withstands a fairly wide temperature range: from -60From to +120WITH.

Installation do-it-yourself metal roofing can be produced even at sub-zero temperatures down to -15WITH.

A little advice: correctly calculate the required amount of metal tiles and purchase it from one seller. Since, even despite the marking, there may be differences in the shades of different production batches. This is fraught with the fact that the coating on the roof looks uneven and not very aesthetically pleasing.

Benefits of Ruukki products

A word of advice: many sellers present Pur-coated metal tiles as Finnish products. In fact, this is a Swedish product that has significant differences from the pural coating. The Pur coating is based on polyester, has an unstable coating thickness (41-48 microns), its minimum processing temperature is only -5C. As you can see, the quality indicators of the Pur coating of the Swedish concern SSAB are much lower than those of Finnish products.

Not only the Finnish manufacturer's pural metal tile is represented on the Russian market, there are others that produce pural or its analogues. The most popular of them:

  1. grand line
  2. Takotta
  3. MetalProfile

Be careful when buying.
