Today, the use of resin as an adhesive for roofing material, as was done before, is not at all effective, since the resin tends to crack after some time, and therefore the waterproofing of the garage roof is also broken.
Thus, the use of this method has become ineffective, and on top of that, it is necessary to apply resin and strips of roofing material, in several layers.
Advice. Leaks are also formed as a result of the appearance of microcracks in the resin layer, and therefore, moisture accumulates in the microcracks over time and the garage roof gets wet. It is for this reason that if an old coating is laid on the roof, then it must be removed immediately, and all resin must be removed from the roof surface, up to the very overlap or screed.
