Ethnostyles are becoming more and more in demand, as more and more people are freed from the stereotypes imposed on them by society and upbringing. They eagerly surround themselves with original decor items, strive to implement unusual interior ideas. Therefore, many people prefer to order a stretch ceiling to create an original interior, which can be made in any shape and color. The use of ethnic styles is one of the main trends of the last decade, which has become a sustainable trend.
Popular styles:
- Russian (so-called rural),
- Scandinavian,
- French, known as Provence style,
- African,
- Oriental.
At the same time, the eastern ones are further subdivided into Indian, Moroccan and other colorful ethnic directions. Separately in this series is Japanese.
When developing such projects, the use of tension structures is very often resorted to.In many cases, the tension system is the optimal solution.
It is traditionally believed that stretch ceilings for ethnic styles need decoration. This is generally true, but there are many reservations about this. The main one is the need to maintain a reasonable balance so as not to go to extremes, making the ceiling too colorful. If the interior has a lot of authentic fragments - ornaments on the walls and furniture, specific decor items traditional for a particular culture, then you should not oversaturate the ceiling with catchy elements. Such a requirement is connected with the fact that the room risks turning into a tasteless heap of "trees behind which the forest is not visible." And for an interior rich in decorative elements, a maximum two-level stretch ceiling in extremely calm colors is recommended.
In some cases, the best solution in one of the ethnic styles is a single-level white construction. But at the same time, the phrase “white construction” should be understood not as a solution in a classic snow-white hue, but as its implementation.
Basic shades:
- creamy white,
- beige white,
- milky white, etc.
Just a single-level stretch ceiling without decor in one of the shades of white, designers often prefer to introduce:
- into the Japanese interior, mounting lamps in it flush with the level of the stretch fabric. Lamps for such tension structures are used depending on what the purpose of the room is and what is the desired intensity and direction of the light streams;
- with African flavor;
- for rooms in the Egyptian style;
- in the Moroccan style, traditionally complementing it with a large, richly decorated central chandelier with many horns.
If the walls of the room are plain or not oversaturated with an abundance of colors and patterns, and the shapes and colors of the furniture are more or less restrained, then it is recommended to make stretch ceilings with photo printing. In this capacity, let's say, an ornament sustained in ethnic canons, taken as a basis, is good.
Another almost win-win idea is floral patterns and drawings on a stretch fabric. For example, it is good to surround a chandelier located in the center of the room with a floral pattern. Or you can depict symbolic animals around the perimeter of the canvas. By the way, this is a very good option for African style. In this case, you can use, for example, an imitation of rock paintings as a basis for a drawing on a canvas.
As for the texture of the ceiling paintings, matte is more suitable for interiors in ethnic styles, regardless of whether fabric or PVC is used to mount the structure. This means that if you decide to use the 2nd option, then you need to give preference to a film with a low reflective effect.
