We all know what Coca-Cola is, and each of us is not averse to refreshing herself with it on a hot summer day. However, too much consumption of this soda can adversely affect the body. In addition to sugar and caffeine, cola contains acid, which is not very useful for humans, but can be useful in many household chores.
1. Cleaning
Cola can be useful in completely unexpected situations, for example, when cleaning the bathroom. She can clean the sink, and the bath, and the toilet to a shine, as well as remove the unpleasant odor.To remove limescale on the toilet, you just need to pour 200-300 ml of soda there, close the lid and wait a while. After cleaning with a brush, the toilet will be like new!
2. Clean the bath
With a rag and Coke, you can easily polish the tub and sink to a shine, and, quite unexpectedly, this soda can clean debris or hair from drain pipes.
3. Laundry
If your favorite T-shirt is stained with oil while digging with the car, or there are large greasy spots on the apron after cooking dinner - do not rush to get upset, Coca-Cola will come to the rescue. Its acid can remove grease from clothes without leaving any residue. To make greasy marks on clothes disappear, you need to pour soda on them and leave for a couple of hours, and then simply wash them with powder.
4. Give the kettle a second life
If the kettle began to slowly heat the water, it is worth “healing” it with cola. To do this, pour it inside and start boiling. Do not be afraid of violent hissing - this is how acid removes scale, and gases are released from it. After this procedure, the kettle will work faster, and the noise from it will be significantly reduced.
5. Coke gets rid of rust
If any screw, nail or small part is rusted, then you can quickly remove the rust by placing it in a cola for a day.
6. Washing efficiency can be increased
Cola is indispensable when you need to wash towels, aprons, casual clothes or rags from:
- fat spots;
- fuel oil;
- rust;
- engine oil.
Things just need to be filled with soda and left for several hours, and the acid will do its job - separate the fat from the tissue.Then they need to be washed - and the spots are gone.
7. Use soda as fertilizer
Cola contains phosphorus, which plants need for nutrition and growth. Cola can be added to the watering tank to further fertilize the plants. Also, Coca-Cola can be useful in creating high-quality compost, as the phosphorus content in it will increase, and, together with soda, leaves, grass, tops and manure overripe much faster.
8. Coca-Cola will quickly remove plaque and scale
Plaque on appliances is easily removed with cola, especially if you add a small amount of soda. To remove scale, you just need to pour it into the kettle and wait an hour. These methods of using cola are absolutely safe for both nature and pets, as well as for humans, and sometimes surpass traditional methods in environmental friendliness. However, it is recommended to carry out all procedures with gloves to avoid the ingress of germs.
