How to organize compact storage of dishes in the kitchen

Every housewife knows that dishes are a very necessary thing in the house and there is never a lot of it. All kinds of appliances, pans, saucepans of different sizes, convenient bowls, jars and flasks are necessary for comfortable and beautiful cooking. However, how can all this be stored normally in a large, or, even more so, a small kitchen?

We systematize stocks

The first thing to organize is food supplies. For the most part, these are various loose. Cereals, flour and other similar products should be stored in special plastic or glass jars. It’s good when they are transparent, and you don’t have to look for the right ingredient for half an hour on labels and inscriptions. You should do this: put the largest containers back, those that are smaller forward.No need to put cans in 10 rows - 2, a maximum of 3 lines will allow you to comfortably reach everything you need.

The remaining usable space can be used for sets of spices. They should always be at hand, so it is worth getting a holder or shelf that will fit all the main herbs. It can be attached simply to the wall, however, so that the jars do not get dirty and do not grow fat, it makes sense to screw them onto the door from the inside of the cabinet.

Pull-out lockers

Standard drawers are still quite bulky and not very convenient. For small kitchens, a pull-out shelving is the best solution. Usually it is made shallow - no more than 15 centimeters and fits on itself banks and boxes strictly in 1 row. It is convenient and practical. Such racks are placed in the gap between the wall and the refrigerator or between cabinets. They can be assembled both in full height and at a certain level, so as not to peek out in the retracted form due to the main piece of furniture.

The nuances of using wall cabinets

There are a number of problems with the usual wall cabinets:

  • Usually they are not too securely hung and do not withstand a lot of weight;
  • It is inconvenient to place many objects in them, since they are simply not visible from above and it is impossible to find the right thing;
  • They are quite bulky, however, in the end, there is very little usable area in them.

In order to make hanging cabinets comfortable, you need to work with them a little. First you need to fix them well on the wall - this is especially true for thin apartment partitions.In this case, a beam is required, to which all cabinets are attached in a row, and then it is fixed on both sides on the nearest main wall. It is better to store light plastic, glass or ceramic dishes in such cabinets.

So there will be no excess weight, plus everything, it is more convenient to get just not heavy kitchen utensils from above. The last thing - you should not rely only on the native shelves of the lockers. They can be further subdivided into multiple floors, or categorized into plastic storage bins to fit more items and be organized in a much better order.
