What is a circular shower and what are its features

For a long time, the beneficial effect of water on the human condition has been known - both from the physical side and from the emotional side. Already in the 19th century, souls were used for medicinal purposes - it was believed that a powerful jet of water directed at the patient had a healing effect. Since then, water procedures have become more and more diverse. One of them is the circular shower, which is much more gentle than the "hard" stream of water, and has become a fairly versatile and safe method of therapy.

Indications and contraindications

Circular shower is a widely used physiotherapy procedure. Typically, such a shower is prescribed and used for therapy:

  • sleep problems;
  • increased pressure;
  • diseases of a nervous nature;
  • some cardiovascular diseases;
  • some diseases of the spine (for example, stenosis and osteochondrosis).
  • skin problems (in particular, after losing weight or due to aging).

But the main contraindications are epilepsy, colds, current menstruation, tumors, serious heart disease, the use of a pacemaker. Also, this shower is not recommended right before bedtime due to its tonic effect. Although this procedure is very safe in itself, the correct choice of the program will allow you to get the maximum effect. The number and duration of circular shower sessions, as well as the settings used (pressure, water temperature), are determined by the doctor individually, depending on the patient's age, state of health and goals of therapy.

The action of the circular shower

Circular shower has a multifaceted healing effect:

  • muscle relaxation occurs, which ensures the prevention of nervous and muscular diseases;
  • improves the course of metabolic processes and blood flow in the body;
  • slags and toxins are removed, the keratinized layers of the sebaceous glands fall off and their work is normalized;
  • the upper and deep layers of the skin, subcutaneous tissue, nerve endings, muscles, blood vessels and organs are “developed”;
  • softens and smoothes the skin;
  • accelerates the flow of blood to the internal organs.

A circular shower is available to the general public, as it is found not only in specialized sanatoriums and hospitals, but also in ordinary cosmetology rooms and beauty salons. Also, such a shower can be installed at home, but it may require a more spacious place than for a conventional bath or shower, and sufficiently effective models are relatively expensive.Therefore, from the point of view of an ordinary patient, this procedure cannot be called “home”. Thus, with the right choice of program, circular shower becomes an effective and safe method of therapy.
